Connecticut officials discuss Medicaid changes from President Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and Yale New Haven Health are criticizing President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, claiming that it will have a dire impact on seniors, while Republicans say the claims are misleading.

DeLauro claims that it will have devastating impacts on 187,000 people in Connecticut who rely on Medicaid, including seniors. Among the changes, the 90-day enrollment window has been shortened to 60 days.
