Connecticut named 4th-healthiest state by United Health Foundation

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The United Health Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the health insurance company United HealthCare, named Connecticut the fourth-healthiest U.S. state in its latest annual report.

The state’s overall rank is determined by its ranks in a range of metrics related to social and economic factors, physical environment, access to healthcare, health outcomes and behavior.
