Connecticut is 43rd state to join nursing licensure compact

Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut Department of Public Health Commissioner Manisha Juthani, MD, announced this month that Connecticut has joined the Nurse Licensure Compact – an agreement among 43 U.S. states and territories that allows Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to obtain one multistate license permitting them to legally practice nursing in all participating locations.
