Committee votes to add $20M more than Lamont budgeted to help smokers kick the habit

The Public Health Committee approved legislation to put $32 million into the Tobacco and Health Trust Fund – $20 million more than the $12 million proposed for smoking cessation in Gov. Ned Lamont’s budget proposal.
