The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Hear Her campaign seeks to raise awareness of urgent maternal warning signs during and after pregnancy. It also aims to improve communication between healthcare providers and patients. In partnership with the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH), the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) is amplifying awareness of perinatal complications and conditions by disseminating Hear Her resources and materials to hospital- and community-based providers. Hear Her messaging materials are utilized to support the statewide Connecticut Urgent Maternal Warning Signs Bracelet Initiative.
