Connecticut Department of Health still recommends Hepatitis B vaccine for newborns

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) has maintained its position that all newborns should receive a dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine within 24 hours of delivery in a statement released Monday.

The DPH also recommends all children complete the full Hepatitis B vaccination cycle within 18 months of delivery.
