CT comptroller advises ‘wait-and-see’ approach toward tariffs, labor market in annual report

HARTFORD, CT — Connecticut is making progress on paying down debt, but economic “warning signs” may point to an uncertain future for the state, according to state Comptroller Sean Scanlon.

In a media call earlier this week, Scanlon presented the state’s 2025 Fiscal Year End Report. He called the year a continuation of Connecticut’s fiscal progress.
