Registration is open for three virtual on-demand training sessions designed to educate healthcare providers on the statewide implementation of the Connecticut Urgent Maternal Warning Signs Bracelet Initiative. Each webinar is specifically tailored to inform target audiences. Registration is required to access the recordings. Click the links below to register.
- Training for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Personnel and Emergency Department (ED) Providers
- Training for Hospital Staff and Healthcare Providers
- Training for Community-Based Organization Healthcare Providers and Staff
Continuing education credits are available for one year from the live training dates. After one year, the sessions will still be accessible, but continuing education credits will no longer be offered.

2025 CHA Regulatory Compliance Conference

With ongoing changes in the regulatory landscape at both state and federal levels, hospital staff face new political realities, challenges, and demands to ensure awareness and effective compliance. The 2025 CHA Regulatory Compliance Conference is designed to address these uncertainties and provide actionable guidance for moving forward. Featured sessions will cover a range of critical topics, including: an overview of the legal landscape in Connecticut, AI governance in healthcare, reporting fraud and abuse to the hospital board, and integrating compliance programs in newly acquired or expanding organizations.
Target Audience: This interdisciplinary conference will update members who work in legal, risk, security, and compliance areas within the organization.

This interactive, virtual workshop is ideal for healthcare staff, as well as past attendees of the Essential Skills Every Leader Needs series, looking for strategies to minimize time leaks and increase productivity. The workshop will include strategies and tools for maintaining focus throughout the day, ways to negotiate time with others, and methods for protecting one’s schedule and time. Participants will examine how they operate throughout the day and explore effective ways of communicating with their healthcare colleagues and teams. Helene Segura returns at member request to present this highly interactive program on time management. At the conclusion of this virtual program, participants will be able to:
- Identify the most common self-interruptions that cause time loss
- Explore tools for improving focus and efficiency
- Discuss ways to establish and communicate realistic boundaries to prevent and contain interruptions
