Lawmakers raise concerns over UConn Health’s proposed $500M bid for Waterbury Hospital

WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) – A proposed plan by UConn Health to acquire Waterbury Hospital and potentially two other financially struggling hospitals has drawn cautious support from state lawmakers.

The proposed bid also raised questions about how the deal, which could exceed $500 million, would be financed.
