Lamont signs 2 bills supporting expecting and new parents

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Gov. Ned Lamont (D-Conn.) plans to hold a bill signing ceremony Tuesday morning. The two bills focus on improving mental health services for both expecting and new parents.

One of the biggest issues is gaps in care around the state, and it’s not just gaps in services; it’s gaps in services plus a higher concentration of people who need them.
