Webinar on Incentives To Support Health Sector Climate Resilience

The Connecticut Department of Public Health’s (DPH) Office of Climate and Health is inviting CHA members to participate in a webinar on Tuesday, June 18, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. to learn more about the federal Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and incentives included in the law to support healthcare organizations in activities related to energy efficiency, environmental justice, and decarbonization.  The webinar features speakers from the federal Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (HHS).

The IRA makes billions of dollars available for sustainability and resilience investments.  HHS will present on how healthcare organizations can leverage the IRA for activities in this space.  More information on these opportunities is available in the Office of Climate Change and Health Equity’s IRA Quickfinder and Catalytic Program series.
