Cybersecurity continues to be a dangerous threat and growing concern to hospitals and health systems across the nation. Couple the typical risks—data-breach, ransomware, etc.—with the COVID-19 pandemic and the concern has been exacerbated. Some of the prominent factors for the increase in risk include: medical devices and ventilators, telehealth and telemedicine, and remote workforces—all cited as key areas of concern. These risks can have a crippling impact on the economic, clinical, and reputational wellbeing of the hospital. 

CHA is pleased to host a webinar with John Riggi, Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity and Risk, American Hospital Association, on the risks related to cybersecurity and COVID-19 as well as mitigation recommendations for each.

De-Escalation 101

There is no fee for this event.

This virtual two-hour de-escalation training will instruct employees to identify and intervene
in what could become potentially volatile situations.

This program will be repeated on October 28, 2020; you only need to attend one of two sessions.
