DANBURY – Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care has expanded its services for treating non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries with the opening of three new centers in Fairfield County.
The new centers are in Brookfield, Danbury and Fairfield.
“Having easy access to affordable, high-quality care is important for maintaining our own health, and it’s a key to building healthy communities,” said Dr. Reed Idriss, medical director for Nuvance Health-GoHealth. “Our neighborhood locations ensure the community has access to personalized healthcare services where people live, work and play.”
The centers in Fairfield and Brookfield opened on Monday, Nov. 4, while the new center in Danbury opened on Oct. 30. Nuvance Health-GoHealth is already opening urgent care centers in North Stamford and Norwalk as well as in LaGrangeville and Carmel, N.Y.
The Danbury urgent care center is located near the Danbury Fair mall at 3 Sugar Hollow Road between Sleep Number and Duluth Trading Co.
Patients can walk into any Nuvance Health-GoHealth center or use its online “save-a-spot” tool to save time by securing their spot in line, checking in and completing registration before arrival.
The new centers are open daily, including holidays, with regular hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Nuvance Health-GoHealth said it offers patients age 6 months and older a wide array of services for conditions including flu, fever, earaches, insect bites, sprains, simple fractures, eye injuries and cuts requiring stitches.
GoHealth partners with health systems to simplify and improve the way patients across the U.S. access high-quality health-care for non-life-threatening conditions in 16 states.
Danbury-based Nuvance Health operates Danbury Hospital and its New Milford campus, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut as well as three medical centers in New York State.
